Best Travel Time of Year

The most important question people ask when deciding on a oversea Holiday is what ist he best time to travel?

Well, for Sri Lanka no best times apply as it is Holiday worthy all year around , but for one exception,it can rain anytime and anywhere without notice.Sri Lanka does not have 4 seasons like countries well distanced above and below the Equator, but two namely, rainy and non rainy seasons. This is a characteristic of aTropical Climate , powered by the two Monsoon winds of north east and south west. With an avarage temperature of 28 Centigrade in coastal regions and an Upcountry avarage of 18 , Sri Lanka is truly a Holiday Paradise. Although the weather in highland and lowland can vary without warning ,there is always a possibility to avoid it within a matter of hours by travelling to another weather Zone. The most rain falls on the Months of October and November.
